Sacred Sananga Eye Drops

Updated: Apr 19

Sananga is made from the roots and bark of the shrub Tabernaemontana undulata. The root and bark of this plant come from the Kaxinawá and Yawanawá tribe. This powerful and sacred medicine is used to cure physical and spiritual ailments by clearing the mind and energies and obtaining a completely new mode of perception and concentration.

This powerful cleansing of the eyes facilitates many levels of healing: physical, mental, emotional, psychological, and spiritual/energetic.

On another level, it can facilitate opening the third eye, cleansing and expanding your aura, and balancing the chakras; keeping a balance, emotionally, mentally, psychologically and spiritually.

Phases of the Sananga Ritual;

Application - When Sananga is applied to the eyes, it often results in a stinging sensation. Some people liken it to getting chili powder in their eyes.

Work with Your Breath - Shamanic medicines, which require active participation, can be challenging for some individuals. Initial use of Sananga may cause some discomfort, but this subsides over time. Beginners often question, "Why did I do this?" The answer is simple: You need it. Sananga is both beautiful and gentle. Remember, resistance can amplify discomfort. Thus, the level of uneasiness you experience often mirrors your capacity to let go. Once this concept is understood, it becomes liberating. Consequently, the process of using Sananga can become enjoyable. If you're just starting, here's some advice. Allow Sananga to work its magic by avoiding internal and focusing on your breath. By concentrating on your breath, you can relax and let go of any discomfort. Avoid opening your eyes too soon after using Sananga. Wait until it feels natural and obvious to do so.

After the initial stinging sensation subsides, you might experience a period of profound joy and relaxation. You might even shed hot tears.

Don't squander this chance to deepen your process by opening your eyes prematurely.

Insight - Now, it's time for your Savasana, a period of deep relaxation and introspection.

Use this time wisely; stay focused on your breath and see if anything arises without clinging to any specific thought.

Prayer - It's always beneficial to express gratitude to the higher powers for any insights gained, and offer prayers of gratitude to the people and plants associated with your Sananga.

Documentation - Make sure to document your insights. Recording your progress on paper often leads to further realizations.
